SELCCU Receives National Award

SELCCU received a Diamond Award for Financial Education from the Credit Union National Association Marketing & Business Development Council. Each year, the council—a national network comprising more than 1,100 credit union marketing and business development professionals—recognizes outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry.
 
The credit union's entry, entitled “Serving a New Generation,” highlighted SELCCU's efforts to educate teenagers about the importance of money management. Outreach to teens, which includes four student branches, field trips for special needs children, Money Camp and workshops, was recognized for program quality and participation.
